Therapeutic Orientation & Focus

Therapeutic Orientation

I offer a holistic approach to therapy, viewing each person through a systemic lens that illuminates the intricately woven, ever-evolving tapestry of their internal world and external relationships. I offer therapy for both individuals and relationships, affirming the rich diversity of how people connect and care for one another. My work embraces a wide range of relationship structures—including monogamous partnerships, polyamorous constellations, consensual non-monogamy, familial bonds, sibling dynamics, deep friendships, and non-romantic or platonic partnerships.

I earned my MA in the Arts of Counseling from Saint Martin’s University, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. I approach therapy through a lens of liberation, anti-oppression, and decolonization - committed to creating a space that resists pathologizing and instead honors each person’s lived experience. In this space, individuals are invited to explore their relationship with themselves, their communities, and the world around them in a way that fosters healing, agency, and connection.

I provide a somatic, trauma-informed process to therapy;  incorporating IFS-informed parts work, attachment theory, narrative therapy, polyvagal practices, and multicultural perspectives into my therapeutic technique. I integrate a harm reduction framework into therapy because I believe the path towards growth is unique to each individual and not a linear process. I hold space for healing to unfold at its own pace, shaped by each person’s story and sense of what they need most.

I approach therapy as a co-explorer; working with my clients to access their internal compass and help identify the personal values that move them through the world.
